- OUTOOR RANGE
The outdoor range is open to the public by appointment and is also available for training and events. Please contact me if you would like to schedule training, a private event, or just come out and shoot. Please refer to
the calendar and the hours at the bottom of the website for availability.
The outdoor range is only available for persons twelve years of age and older. Children under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. The Interactive Simulator is open to all ages.
We have a range safety brief every time we go out to the range and safety is always taken seriously. Please read the range safety rules on this page and contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a range safety class.
There is currently only a dirt road leading back to the range and it is recommended for only offroad vehicles to drive back to the range. I do provide transportation back to the range with a four seat UTV.
Currently there are no restroom facilities available down at the range. There are restrooms available at the house where we park before heading out to the range. (There will be a restroom at the range soon.)
RANGE FEATURES
Six wooden target stands for you to staple or tape your target to.
Two 8 ft. tables to hold your weapons and gear while shooting.
Two shooting tables with seating for supported rifle shooting.
A seating area with tables and chairs for use while not shooting.
RANGE SAFETY RULES
EVERY GUN IS LOADED: TREAT EVERY GUN AS IF IT IS LOADED AND DANGEROUS.

ONLY POINT AT IT IF YOU WANT IT DESTROYED: ALWAYS KEEP THE GUN POINTED DOWNRANGE AND NEVER POINT A GUN AT ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PLANNING TO SHOOT.

MIND THE TRIGGER: KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER AND OUTSIDE THE TRIGGER GUARD UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO FIRE.

IF IT’S LOADED, LEAVE IT ON THE LINE: CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR FIREARM IS UNLOADED, THE ACTION DOOR IS OPEN AND THE SAFETY IS ON BEFORE BRINGING IT OFF THE SHOOTING LINE.

PROTECT YOURSELF: WEAR PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR AND EAR PROTECTION AT ALL TIMES, EVEN WHEN NOT SHOOTING.

CHECK YOUR WEAPON: ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR WEAPON IS FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY, PROPERLY CLEANED, AND SAFE TO USE.

KNOW YOUR TARGET AND BEYOND: ALWAYS KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SHOOTING AT AND BE MINDFUL OF WHAT IS AROUND AND BEHIND YOUR TARGET.

BE SAFE: KEEP THE SAFETY IN THE ON POSITION AND THE ACTION DOOR OPEN UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO FIRE.

ALCOHOL AND GUNPOWER DON’T MIX: IT IS ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED TO BRING ALCOHOL INTO THE SHOOTING RANGE.
FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THE ABOVE RULES MAY RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM THE FACILITY AND DENIAL OF FUTURE SHOOTING PRIVILEGES.
